Shatavisha Public School is an English-medium institution catering to students from Nursery to Class XII. We prepare students for the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) examinations conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

General Curriculum (Primary & Secondary)

Our comprehensive curriculum includes the following subjects:

Languages: English, Bengali, and Hindi.

Core Subjects: Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Commercial Studies.

Skill-Based: Computer Applications, SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work), and Art & Craft.

Note on Languages: As an English-medium school, we emphasize mastery of written and spoken English. However, Bengali and Hindi are compulsory under the three-language scheme of secondary education.

Campus Safety: To maintain a high standard of discipline and safety, the school premises—including classrooms, the auditorium, and the grounds—are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance.

Counseling Services: In accordance with Council norms, a trained School Counselor is available to help students navigate emotional challenges and personal growth.

School Uniform Regulations

Students are required to report to school in the prescribed uniform at all times. Parents are requested to strictly adhere to the following specifications to ensure uniformity and discipline.

1. Standard School Uniform (Monday – Thursday)

This uniform is to be worn on all regular school days.

2. Friday & House Uniform (Class Nursery – XII)

On Fridays, students must wear their designated House or White uniform as specified below:

Boys: House T-shirt, white trousers, and white shoes (keds).

Girls: House T-shirt, white skirts, and white shoes (keds).


3. Winter Uniform Supplements

During the winter months, the following additions to the standard uniform are mandatory:

Sweaters: Maroon full-sleeved or sleeveless sweaters.

Note: All other uniform components (shirts, trousers/skirts, and ties) remain the same.


General Uniform Rules

Compliance: Strict adherence to the color and style specifications is expected from all pupils.

Maintenance: Uniforms must be clean, well-ironed, and shoes must be polished daily.

Identification: The school tie is a compulsory part of the daily attire (except on House Uniform days).
